2024 RESULTS
On Saturday 27th April 2024, 166 paddlers joined the start line for the inaugural R2TC event.
The air temperature was mild, no rain, the sun made an appearance but the talk of the town was the wind. It blew an unseasonably easterly the whole way. The river weaves, winds and meanders but we’re all friends here, it was a bloody headwind, with maybe the odd moment of relief. The “Class of 24” battled their way to the castle. Their names are in the history book. Congratulations everyone. What a year!!
